Straight Outta Compton tells the true story of how five young cultural rebels - armed only with their lyrics, swagger, bravado and raw talent - stood up to the authorities that meant to keep them. Eazy-E discusses killing Suge Knight with Jerry Heller. Suge Knight also uses his henchmen to badly beat up Eazy-E after luring him into his office to sign a release form for Dre and D.O.C. Suge Knight is shown mercilessly battering a man who was in his parking spot. The group cruises through LA while it is being destroyed due to the Rodney King riots. The police are extremely brutal towards NWA, pushing them to the ground. Eazy-E gets held up in a drug bust with multiple guns being pointed at him. Ice Cube destroys Bryan Turner's office with a baseball bat. Dre punches multiple people throughout the film. NWA incites riots during their performances. In the group's tour bus, DJ Yella is also shown watching porn, with the porn visually and audibly being displayed on film. In that same bathroom of the hotel room, Eazy-E is shown getting a blowjob from some random girl. The bartender in their little private hotel room is also topless. In the group's hotel rooms, they're banging multiple girls very clearly. Female bottoms are shown, boobs are shown, vaginas are shown. F**k, s**t, n***a, b***h, and many more.ĭuring Dre's crazy parties in the movie, multiple girls are topless, bottomless, and even just completely naked. If it is a swear word, it is in the movie. Straight Outta Compton is the 6th highest ranking movie in the history of movies with most swear words. ![]() Dre is portrayed in his infamous drunk driving arrest from 1994, where he supposedly sped up to 90 mph throughout LA in a car chase with police. The message that some hoodrats from the ghetto of one of Cali's most crime-ridden cities can become some of the most successful and richest musicians in history is also a great message.Īs for role model messages, as Ice Cube himself says in 'Gangsta Gangsta', "Do I look like a mothaf**in role model?" It's pretty obvious they're just trying to tell a message about how they really roll, even if it means they don't come off presentable as a role models. The messages against the police, and for HIV/AIDS prevention with Eazy-E are great messages to enforce, as well as freedom of speech in music. Great movie with some great messages, but still some things that could be considered undesirable for younger audiences. ![]()
